Now, regarding Iberanime OPO… I must say, it was the best anime convention I’ve been on, so far. Met lots of people, some of them already aquainted with this blog. Made lots of on-the-go commissions, and some of them have been uploaded to my DeviantArt gallery, with permission of the customers, of course!

Also, the manga workshop went better than last time (which went pretty well on it’s own), despite some minor technical difficulties on the first day. Also, I’ve gotten along with the two invited professional cosplayers, Isabelle and Elsch… which explains why am I typing this in english. Yeah, in case they take a look at this. The goal of this blog is to attract people from all over the world, so I think it’s best to type everything in english, from now on. 😛

Now, I got a lil’ piece of news for the portuguese community… so, back to typing in portuguese:

Ora bem… vou estar presente no evento Iberanime OPO, que decorrerá no Porto, nos dias 23 e 24 de Outubro. Como já é costume nestas convenções de anime, vou estar numa banquinha a vender desenhos pró pessoal.

O preço dos desenhos vai ser reformulado em relação ao do evento anterior (Anipop 1/2), mas posso já mencionar que se mantém o formato de folha A5. Porquê A5? Tentem andar de um lado pró outro com um A4 na mão, e depois digam-me em que condições é que a folha chegou a casa. Um A5 cabe dentro de uma revista, e pronto. Falo por experiência própria, e estou certo que muita gente concorda com isto.

Além disto, tal como no Iberanime LX, vou dar o workshop de desenho manga nos dois dias do evento. A matéria do workshop será igual em ambas as sessões, portanto os que vão no sabado vão na sessão de domingo apenas se quizerem rever alguma coisa, ou assim. E tal como no Iberanime LX, vou focar-me nas pessoas que estão ainda a iniciar-se. Portanto, talvez isto não seja muito productivo para quem já tem experiência em desenho.

Nope, no comic updates, this time. But don’t worry, they’re on their way.

Some of you might remember a picture of a rather creepy toy I’ve found on a chinese store. However, I found something that might arguably top that:

For those who don’t know portuguese, allow me to explain. What’s on the box roughly translates as “Bible superheroes”. It’s a card-based game, and… if you ask me, that’s about as much as I wish and NEED to know. I found that thing on a store that’s financed by the church.

Honestly… are they THAT desperate, back at the Vatican?! XD

Now, like on the previous post, I’ll be adding a piece of text for the portuguese part of the community:

Ora bem… O Anipop foi porreirito. Fiz umas massas, conheci gente nova, alguns já visitantes aqui da Ranter Works, o que me deixou bastante satisfeito. Aparvalhou-se um bocado aqui e ali, como é de esperar de um evento destes, e enfim… posso dizer que foi um fim de semana bem passado.

Alguns já devem estar a par de um “incidente” que se sucedeu no Domingo, mais precisamente na actuação de um rapaz chamado Rudolfo. Quanto a isso não deixo mais do que uma nota: não tomem posições acerca do sucedido sem antes saberem a história toda. Pelo simples motivo de que quando a souberem, notarão que simplesmente não existem posições a tomar.

Vou estar presente no evento de anime e manga Anipop 1/2, numa banca por conta do grupo de DeviantArt MangaPT. Vou, junto com outros membros do grupo, estar a vender desenhos feitos na hora. Desenhos esses que podem ser retratos em manga, um personágem qualquer que queiram que eu faça… pá, desde que não me peçam merdas como yaoi, estão à vontade, ok? XD

Para os interessados, os desenhos serão só a lapis por questões de produtividade, e o preço será de 3€ a 6€, dependendo do que me peçam. Podem aproveitar a ocasião para me sugerirem futuras “rants” para a webcomic, comentários em relação ao site… enfim, o que vos der na mona.
