Also, I’ve been watching the E3 conferences, specifically Nintendo’s… and my jaw litterally dropped, when they showed the Nintendo 3DS! Not only it’s graphic capabilities surpass the PSP’s, using things like Normal Mapping, and some pretty advanced lighting for such a small device, it seems like Nintendo has entered “fanservice mode”, by announcing remakes for Zelda: Ocarina of Time (my personal favourite game ever!), Starfox 64, as well as improved ports of Metal Gear Solid 3, Kingdom Hearts (not that I like that thing, but hey, it sells…), Splinter Cell… And let’s not forget the new Donkey Kong and Kirby titles announced for the Wii! As well as the new Zelda Skyward Sword for the Wii, which… made me scratch my head at first, due to the visuals, but hey, it looks nice. Just hope it plays even better!
… But what really made me want the 3DS, aside from the Zelda remake, which would be enough on it’s own, it’s the new Kid Icarus title. Dunno what I’m talking about? Then just watch the trailer below:
I dunno about you, but… that looks like some INTENSE shit! The part where he kept dodging those red lasers (assuming that’s actual gameplay, and not a cutscene) is what got me into wanting the damn thing! Kinda looks like a mixture of Starfox/Space Harrier with Wild Guns… which is just PLAIN AWESOME!!!
